Rick Schmidt is the director of 26 feature films and the author of 21 books. Some of his films include Morgan’s Cake, Showboat 1988, and Chetzemoka’s Curse - Dogme #10. His films have screened at major film festivals such as Sundance, Rotterdam, New Directors/New Films. He has received positive reviews from publications such as the New York Times. 5 of his films were included in the recently published The New Indie Film Canon list. He is the author of the legendary indie filmmaking how-to book Feature Filmmaking At Used Car Prices.
